Del Maguey (ma-gay) Single Village Mezcals are all from Oaxaca, Mexico.
Each mezcal is named for the village where it is made and are distilled
from specific types of 100% mature agave. These are unblended and
produced in the original 400 year old, organic handcrafted way.

‘DM’ Chichiapa

This mezcal is made at an elevation of

7000 feet in a broad valley with dessert

and tropical microclimates.

‘DM’ Minero

Minero is made in a clay still with bamboo

tubing at 6500 feet in an arid, semi-tropical

microclimate.

‘DM’ San Luis del Rio

This mezcal is made in an arid microclimate

at 8000 feet in a narrow valley on the

Red Ant River.

‘DM’ Mezcal Crema

This mezcal is made with 80% Espadin agave

and 20% agave honey, the unfermented syrup

of the roasted agave.

‘DM’ Pechuga

Pechuga is another mezcal made in a clay still

with bamboo tubing. A third distillation is

done including wild apples, plums, almonds,

and a chicken breast.

‘DM’ Santo Domingo

This mezcal is made in the tropical mountains

at 8500 feet.

‘DM’ Tobala

Made from the rare Tobala agave plant, this

is limited to 400 bottles a year. This smaller,

wild agave grows like truffles in the shade of

oak trees in the hard to reach mountains at

8200 feet.

Sotols

A distilled spirit made from the Desert Spoon (or in Spanish, sotol),
a plant that grows in the wilds of Northern Mexico, West Texas, and
New Mexico. It is known as the state drink of Chihuahua. There are
few commercial examples available. It is produced in a manner
similar to the more common artisanal mezcals of central Mexico.
